Get active outdoors
It’s well documented that physical fitness brings many health benefits. Regular exercise can prevent chronic illness and is proven to improve mood, reduce stress and improve sleep patterns.
Modern busy lifestyles (especially with a new baby in the family) can make people feel that they just don’t have the time to take exercise, but the good news is that you don’t have to venture far from home or spend lots of money to get fitter and improve your health.
The outdoors is always open, is just outside your door and outdoor exercise can give you a better workout, as you’re constantly adapting to your environment. It also fills your lungs with fresh air and gives you a free dose of vitamin D. But if you have never been a particularly physically active person, it can be daunting to venture into the outdoors and try an activity that you might never even have considered before. You might worry that you’re not fit enough, or that you don’t have the right gear, or simply that other people will be looking at you.
Babi Actif sessions will be held in a relaxed, sociable, informal atmosphere, everyone taking part will be encouraged to do as much as they’re able and because everyone is participating with their little ones (who may never have done some of these activities before), it gives you the perfect excuse to learn
alongside them. All our trainers will be experts in helping you to exercise safely and all exercises will be flexible and adaptable to take account of differing levels of physical fitness.
