Get active outdoors

It’s well documented that being active in the outdoors brings many health benefits. Regular exercise, fresh air and engagement with nature can prevent chronic illness and is proven to improve mood, reduce stress and improve sleep patterns.

Modern busy lifestyles (especially with a new baby in the family) can make people feel that they can’t take time out for fresh air and nature, but the good news is that you don’t have to venture far from home or spend lots of money to improve your health and well-being.

The outdoors is always open, is just outside your door and outdoor exercise can give you a better workout, as you’re constantly adapting to your environment.

Spending time outdoors can provide you and your baby with so many benefits, it fills your lungs with fresh air and gives you a free dose of vitamin D. But if you have never been one for the outdoors or a particularly physically active person, it can be daunting to try an activity that you might never even have considered before. You might worry that you’re not fit enough, or that you don’t have the right gear, or simply that other people will be looking at you.

Sessions are relaxed and sociable,  all the session leaders are experts in helping you to enjoy the outdoors safely.  All activities are flexible and adaptable to take into account of differing levels of physical fitness and experience.
